25% JIM??

Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

Well there now appears to be some sort of daylight on the horizon concerning the SAGA of the sale of MAN.UTD . All over the week-end news is that the "ROTTEN glaziers" have or seem to have agreed a deal with Sir Jim Ratcliffe for him to aquire a 25% stake in the club.
I personally have reservation's on the issue , originally i was in shock at the thought of the club being bought by an ARAB SHEIK or whatever ! Though after the considerable length of time that it had been going on , i kind of came round to thinking it might work out . Then there was always the guy S.J.R. waiting in the wings , with his part offer. Then we had the RAT owners who changed thier minds yet again , and now we have yet another resolution with this part ownership from S.J.R.
This is now i believe giving me more of a concern ,why one asks ,well the fact s are basically the same with those still having 75% control .
SO as things stand i'm still not convinced and that this latest announcement is not what i along with the THOUANDS of MAN .U .Fans want .wHEN ONE looks at what S.J.R. has done for his FRENCH club (NOT MUCH ) then one must ask the question?
Finally all this going on is still and will not detract from the crisis which today is still happening at the club and that is i believe honestly that the club is reaching a crisis point !!! "TIME WILL OUT""

GB, those Arabs offered the money plus extra to rebuild the ground and the greeders wouldn't take it. As eggbeater says they are still lining their own pockets. As you say, not many fans would have liked the sheik to buy the club but if it had happened and after a great influx of capital new players were brought in and utd rose again, I don't think you'd see many fans shoutin " Sheik out " .

told you a while ago that the sheik had sussed them glazers out . unlike some on here (mentioning no names) who were saying the arabs would buy united . they were wrong yet again .

Uncle Jim buys a minority stake and The Glazers stay in charge (or so it is rumoured).

Nah, as a match going season ticket holder for 35 years, (unlike some), I'm very used to the current TREBLE WINNERS, THREE TIMES CONSECUTIVE PREMIER LEAGUE WINNERS and EUROPEAN KNOCKOUT TROPHY CHAMPIONS losing a couple of games.

Difference is, I don't desert my team in the bad times, (if you can call what trafford have endured in the last ten years bad times).

P.S. Do you want to know the name of a good roofer?

I think that is known as a slam dunk return whups

Anyone else get the impression that a couple of people on here who have suddenly appeared after lurking in the shadows are beyond gutted that it looks like there won't be the merest whiff of any Sportswashing shenanigans at Old Trafford compared to the utter stench that eminates from the emptyhad

PS Do you want to know the name of a good lawyer.

Revisiting the thread G B started .
A real good article in the Mirror today by John Cross on S J R and the Utd takeover .
His main thrust is that shared ownership rarely works and causes division and why would anyone invest hundreds of millions in something they dont actually own ?
My view is why would S J R want to jump into bed with the GREEDY GLAZERS who have fleeced the club to the tune of 1.6 billion .
Looks v much like casino economics .
Makes little or no sense .

it,s the owners fault when all they do is bleed the club dry & not make funds available for the manager to get the players he wants . like iv,e said it,s a bit rich comming from you who,s been calling the glazers from day 1 & now your saying it,s not their fault . hypocrite comes to mind .
